HIV stands for Human immunodeficiency Virus. The virus was discovered in 1982. It was discovered Dr. William, and Bobbi Campbell. And he was the first person to be openly about Aids. Dr. Gallo was thefirst one to find retroviruse. Its a blood virus thats transpast by sexual contact. It mutates more than DNA viruses because it only contains RNA. The virus targets only helper Tcells.
